Priyanka Swarna has been dedicated to the divine art of Bharatanatyam for nearly a decade. Currently a senior disciple of the renowned Smt. Gomathi Manoj, she continues to delve into the expressive depth (Abhinaya) and technical precision (Nritta) of the form.
In addition to Bharatanatyam, Priyanka is training in Mohiniyattamโthe graceful, lyrical classical dance form native to Keralaโunder the expert guidance of Kalamandalam Guru Dr. Dhanusha Sanyal.
Priyanka's artistic journey is marked by active participation in multiple high-profile productions and recitals throughout the Tri-State area. She holds a Level 1 Certification from the International Dance Council (CID UNESCO, Paris), of which she has been a member since 2017. In June 2022, she was conferred the prestigious title of 'Sarvottama Narthaki' by Soundarya Natya Kalalaya, NJ.
Combining academic discipline with artistic rigor, Priyanka holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.

In July 2021, Priyanka Swarna was honored with the Folk Arts Apprenticeship Grant by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts (NJSCA). This grant supported her intensive studies in the finer, advanced aspects of Bharatanatyam under Master Artist Smt. Gomathi Manoj.
The successful year-long apprenticeship culminated in a celebrated live recital on June 29, 2022, at the Sri Guruvaayoorappan Temple in Morganville, NJ.
In July 2018, Priyanka represented the United States on a global stage at the 51st World Congress of Dance Research in Athens, Greece. Organized by the Conseil International de la Danse (CID) under the patronage of UNESCO, the Hellenic National Commission, and the City of Athens, this prestigious summit stands as the largest and oldest global gathering of dance specialists, uniting research, teaching, and performance.
Being selected for both live ensemble staging and workshop facilitation allowed Priyanka to present her artistry alongside 354 top experts representing 50 countries across 5 continents, with programs peer-reviewed under a Scientific Committee of 12 university professors from 7 countries.
